Has made 460 appearances for the club to the end of last season, having overtaken David Bean at the head of the appearances list. A classy central defender who can also occupy a midfield role, his consistency has made him a great favourite with fans and playing colleagues alike. |

Moved to non-league after being released by Bury and had experience at Leigh, Droylsden and Leek before settling at Boro, regaining his fitness and form to play a major role in the midfield or defence. Missed the end of last season following an operation, but now recovered and eager to regain his place in the squad. |

| 'Sammo' resigned for The Boro for the 3rd time in February 2010. The former Manchester United trainee originally signed from Accrington Stanley in our promotion winning year in 2003. Stayed with The Boro until 2006 when he left to join The Marines. A spell at FC United followed before signing for The Boro again in 2007. Left for Salford City at the start of the season but returned for a 3rd spell in February 2010. A fan favourite with the crowd due to his silky skills, The Boro will be hoping his third stint will be as successful as his last two. |

| A tall centre forward who signed at the start of last season from Prestwich Heys. Started his career at Bury, then had a short spell with Leek Town before returning to this area to help Heys win the Manchester League title. Steve gained in fitness, strength and ability as last season progressed and finishes it as the League's third highest scorer with 36 goals. This also ranked him 2nd to Jody Banim in the club's rankings for goals in a season at this level. |
