Wednesday 11th August
The revamped Junior Blues supporters club held it’s first event since it’s reformation with a Fun Day held at the club on Sunday. With 171 current members the day was attended by 21 Junior Blues members who along with their families enjoyed the day held from 12noon-3pm. The day consisted of a PS3 Tournament which was won by Jake Lockett, a pool competition, a bouncy castle, football skill challenges and a lads v dads match to finish the day off.
Football in the Community Officer Peter Lofthouse commented “Considering we hastily decided to arrange the fun day 7 days before the event plus added to the fact that it was the summer holidays with upto 30 members informing us of them being away we were delighted with the turnout. It was a small taster event and will enable us to push it further with more fun days planned throughout the season”
